TartaglIA Sanidad is a project that seeks to create a federated network with artificial intelligence for clinical and healthcare research in Spain. With 15 partners and funded by the Recovery, Resilience and Transformation Plan, its objective is the harmonization of clinical data and image metadata for use cases in Retinopathy, Alzheimer's and Prostate Cancer, without taking the data out of the health centers.

El proyecto tartaglIA Sanidad, llevado a cabo junto a 15 socios, se enmarca dentro del programa Misiones de Innovación en en Inteligencia Artificial de la Secretaría de Estado de Digitalización e Inteligencia Artificial (SEDIA) del Ministerio de Asuntos Económicos y Transformación Digital (Nº Expediente MIA.2021.M02.0005), correspondiente a los fondos del Plan de Recuperación, Resiliencia y Transformación, de la agenda España Digital 2025 y de la Estrategia Nacional de Inteligencia Artificial.

We are working on the creation of a federated network with artificial intelligence to streamline clinical and healthcare research in Spain. Our interoperability experts Beatriz Navarro Ventura and Diego Boscá Tomás, are in charge of the harmonization of clinical data and image metadata to OMOP-CDM for three use cases (Retinopathy, Alzheimer's and Prostate Cancer), coming from 5 healthcare organizations.

Tartagllia will allow, for the first time, the sharing of healthcare data without taking it out of the health centers, thus leveraging the potential of data from different regions and countries.
